Welcome to Arlifial Designs, my personal blog and resource sites. I, Alyssa, own another website called Warriors Whisper. From that sprung this little world of mine, where I can make graphics and resources not related to warriors. I am not your average teenager, that much I will say. Maybe you can pick that up from my sooper coolio blog entries.....but I am not so different from many of my friends. Some say I'm quiet, while others say I talk too much. But this is my outlet besides my friends to all of my daily frustrations, confusion, and anything else I deem fit to put here. So sit back, relax, and get caught up in a whirl wind of chocolate!

about me

As you may already know, I go by the name Alyssa. At sixteen years old, I have accomplished at becoming a good graphics/web designer and gained a job until I am officially out of college. I was born June 12, a birthday I proudly share with Anne Frank and many others in the world. I currently reside in Massachusetts where I live with my brother, sister, mother, father, and my dog Peaches (Pete).

My interests are mainly focused on the internet, although I love to read, write, draw, sing, and ride horses. I also love to spend money, so it's kind of hard for me to save money xD But I'm saving up for an apartment so I got it down =). I love music in general, and will listen to anything that isn't just about sex or saying a phrase or word repeatedly; that is one of my pet-peeves -.-' Which is also why I don't listen to much of the new music out there unless it's rock, heavy metal, soul, instrumental, grunge, etc. My favorite band of all time is Linkin Park; I would own every single album if I could, but sadly, I never have the money to do that =( I also like Bullet for My Valentine, Evenescence, L'Arc en Ciel, Atreyu, and songs like Chiisaki Mono (Make a Wish; English version), Can't Take it In by Imogen Heap, and Bellas Lullaby.

I also love to cook and I am willing to try just about anything. I have a website dedicated to some of my research concerning new recipes and techniques I come up with [link]. I especially enjoy Japanese cuisine alongside with French cuisine, both including my favorite foods not to mention the fact that, if eaten in correct proportions, is very slimming =D

My passion is writing, and I am currently working towards completing a shape-shifter trilogy, although as of lately I havent been able to work on it due to the fact that my old laptop died and along with it went my six chapters of what I had written.....now I am trying to see if I can re-write it from memory, but it just doesn't feel right =/ I also like to write little random snippets of dreams, both in poems and in little pieces of writing. I may post the part-of-stories, as I call them, later on this year, or maybe even start writing off of some of them, but we'll see ;)

I'm not very big on religion, although I do hate the stereotypes behind them. I am an eclectic Wiccan, and while I believe there is a Goddess, I also believe in God and that Jesus is his son. You would think the two worlds clashing would be catastrophe, but for me it works out more than you know. That and also that Heaven exists, although I'm not so big on believing Hell exists. That's only because I believe there is good in everyone and therefore, deep down inside everyone deserves to go to Heaven. My beliefs differ a lot, so this might change in the future. I actually plan to go back to church, although I won't participate in everything they do. But still, I love church =3

I happen to space out a lot, for reasons unknown by myself and others. It often affects how I work in class, but I think it's important that I get 'lost' in my own thoughts because I can solve problems easier and make better decisions. Most people think I am 'bothered'-hate to break it to ya', but the only thing I am 'bothered' about are people who think I am 'bothered'. xD I also go through Déjà vu a lot and while it bothers me, I also find it quite fascinating. I mean, who wouldn't be? But aside from my weird abilities and totally unique personality, I'm your average teenager =)

1. My favorite TV shows are Avatar: The Last Airbender, Full Metal Alchemist, InuYasha, Charmed, and Law and Order.
2. I love to sing in other languages =3 It's so much fun learning all the words and pronunciation. Plus I'm learning a new language!
3. I hate pork -.-' The only thing I like that comes from a pig is bacon, but that's it or if it's pork-fried rice =3
4. Chad Michael Murray would have made a much extremely better Edward in Twilight than Robert Pattinson :/
